Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Night Auditor to join our team at a premier hotel or resort. The Night Auditor plays a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations during the overnight shift, providing exceptional guest services while performing essential accounting and administrative tasks. This position is ideal for individuals with a background in hospitality management and a passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences. Responsibilities Conduct nightly audits of financial transactions and ensure accuracy in reporting. Manage front desk operations, including check-ins and check-outs during the night shift. Provide exceptional guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring guest satisfaction. Maintain accurate records of all transactions and prepare reports for management review. Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure that all areas of the hotel are well-maintained and ready for guests. Handle cash, credit card transactions, and prepare daily financial summaries. Assist guests with special requests or needs, demonstrating a commitment to excellent customer service. Ensure compliance with hotel policies and procedures while maintaining confidentiality of guest information. Qualifications Previous experience in hotel management or hospitality management is preferred. Strong front desk experience with knowledge of night audit processes is highly desirable. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction. Multilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse guests. Proficient in using hotel management software and basic accounting principles. Ability to work independently during overnight shifts while remaining attentive to detail. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. A positive attitude and willingness to go above and beyond for guests.
