Holiday Inn Express & Suites American Fork Position Overview Join our team as a Night Auditor and be an important part of creating a great guest experience from late night through the start of the morning! This position is perfect for someone who enjoys working independently, providing friendly customer service, staying organized, and taking pride in keeping the hotel welcoming, clean, and ready for the day ahead. As our overnight team member, you will assist our guests, manage front desk responsibilities, complete the nightly audit, and help prepare the hotel so our morning team can hit the ground running. Your Responsibilities Guest Services & Front Desk Welcome and assist late-night guests with a friendly and professional attitude Check guests in and out accurately and efficiently Provide excellent customer service and respond to guest questions and requests Make and manage guest reservations Assist guests with information about hotel amenities, local restaurants, and area attractions Handle guest concerns professionally and work to create a positive experience Keep the front desk and lobby welcoming, organized, and guest-ready Night Audit Complete the nightly audit and balance daily hotel transactions Reconcile guest accounts, payments, and postings Verify financial information and address discrepancies Complete required nightly reports and procedures Prepare the hotel systems for the next business day Morning Preparation & Hotel Upkeep Help set up breakfast so the breakfast attendant can begin the morning smoothly Assist with laundry as needed to help keep operations running efficiently Open and prepare the pool area for the day's use Restock pool supplies and ensure the pool area is clean, organized, and ready for guests Keep the lobby and public restrooms clean and presentable for the morning shift Help ensure common areas are fresh, stocked, and ready for the start of a new day Safety & Overnight Operations Conduct routine walks of the property Help maintain a safe, quiet, and comfortable environment for guests Monitor entrances and be attentive to activity throughout the hotel Follow hotel safety and emergency procedures when needed Communicate important overnight information to the morning team What We're Looking For Friendly, dependable, and positive attitude Strong customer service skills Previous hotel or front desk experience is preferred but not required Comfortable working independently during overnight hours Organized and attentive to detail Basic computer skills Ability to learn and use hotel management systems Professional communication skills Willingness to help wherever needed to support the team Reliable and punctual attendance Why This Position Is Important The Night Auditor plays a key role in the success of our hotel.
