Job Description

Night Auditor / Overnight Hotel Operations We are looking for a dependable, detail-oriented person to operate our small limited-service hotel overnight in Mineral Wells. Hotel experience is not required. We would rather train someone who learns quickly, pays attention, follows through, and takes pride in doing things correctly. This is an active overnight hotel-operations position—not a desk-only job. You will assist guests while completing the nightly audit, laundry, inventory checks, reports, and other routine hotel work. Responsibilities Check guests in and out Answer phones and assist guests professionally Complete the nightly hotel audit Process payments and balance cash accurately Wash, dry, and fold towels and other laundry Restock vending and complete inventory counts Check breakfast supplies Prepare morning reports and Housekeeping information Document problems, unusual activity, and unfinished work Provide a clear handoff to the next shift Complete assigned tasks during quieter periods Perform light cleaning and other hands-on hotel duties as needed What We Are Really Looking For Dependable attendance and punctuality Pays attention to details and notices when something does not look right Follows written instructions and checklists completely Takes useful notes and documents problems clearly Finishes tasks instead of leaving unnecessary loose ends Looks for information and asks questions rather than guessing Comfortable learning computers, hotel software, and procedures Organized enough to manage several responsibilities during one shift Comfortable working independently overnight Friendly and professional with guests Willing to remain productive during quiet periods Accurate with money, counts, paperwork, and reports Willing to perform laundry, stocking, cleaning, and other hands-on duties Personal phone use does not interfere with assigned work Has a reliable way to report to every scheduled shift on time Schedule Five overnight shifts weekly 11:00 p.m.-7:00 a.m. 40 hours per week Weekend and holiday availability required Temporary daytime availability required during initial training Experience Hotel or night-audit experience is helpful but not required. Experience involving overnight work, cash handling, inventory, customer service, security, caregiving, recordkeeping, or independent responsibility may transfer well to this position. Growth Opportunity Someone who proves dependable, learns the hotel well, and takes on responsibility may have opportunities to advance into broader hotel-operations or leadership responsibilities.
Pay:
$11.00 - $12.50 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
