This is a hands-on role for someone who already has strong bookkeeping, client service, communication, and supervisory experience and is ready to manage the day-to-day financial and administrative needs of assigned clients. The ideal candidate has direct experience in all responsibilities listed below, including review of system-generated profit and loss statements and balance sheets, payroll and payroll tax knowledge, real estate transaction recording, monthly cash flow preparation, client communication, and staff supervision. We are willing to train a qualified full-charge bookkeeper into the Account Manager role, but candidates must already have the required technical foundation, communication ability, and management or supervisory experience. Each Account Manager is partnered with an assistant to help manage the desk, maintain workflow, and complete recurring monthly responsibilities accurately and on schedule. The Account Manager will oversee a high-volume desk supporting multiple high-net-worth clients, many of whom have multiple related entities. This role requires strong technical bookkeeping knowledge, excellent organization, sound judgment, and the ability to manage competing priorities across several active client relationships. Responsibilities Manage all aspects of assigned clients' business, personal, and financial affairs. Serve as a primary point of contact for clients and respond to questions and requests in a timely, professional manner. Review general ledger activity and identify GL code issues requiring correction or follow-up. Prepare and/or review monthly cash flow reports. Record and review real estate transactions accurately. Review system-generated profit and loss statements and balance sheets. Understand journal payroll processing, payroll taxes, and related compliance requirements. Maintain strong technical proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and related systems used to manage client work. Ensure work complies with firm standards, client expectations, and applicable industry practices. Supervise, support, and review the work of assistant bookkeepers or other support staff as assigned. Agillink experience is a plus, however we will train the right candidate. Required Qualifications Minimum of four years of bookkeeping experience, including trial balance work, review of profit and loss statements and balance sheets, payroll, and payroll tax exposure. Experience performing the responsibilities listed above. Applicants should be prepared to discuss their direct experience in each area. Management or supervisory experience is required. Candidates without management or supervisory experience will not be considered. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required. Candidates must be able to communicate clearly and professionally. Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, Word, SharePoint, Teams, and Outlook. Highly detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple clients, deadlines, and priorities at the same time. Strong time-management skills and the ability to follow through without repeated reminders. Professional judgment, discretion, and the ability to handle confidential client information appropriately. Team-oriented attitude with proven people skills and the ability to work effectively with clients, colleagues, and support staff.
Salary:

Office Location and Hours:
This role is based in Encino or Beverly Hills. Office hours are 8:30am to 5:00 p.m. Application Screening Questions Describe your experience managing multiple clients' books at the same time.
