Job Description
Wilmington, DE (100% On-Site) What You'll Be Doing Independently manage and process multi-state payroll for approximately 1500 employees across multiple legal entities. Process accurate and timely payroll for both hourly and salaried employees. Serve as an internal ADP Workforce Now subject matter expert , troubleshooting issues, generating reports, and resolving complex payroll discrepancies. Oversee time and attendance processes, including reviewing timecards, identifying discrepancies, and coordinating corrections. Partner with supervisors, employees, and internal departments to resolve payroll questions and ensure accurate employee pay. Perform payroll reconciliations and support payroll accounting activities, including general ledger-related transactions. Maintain accurate payroll records while ensuring compliance, confidentiality, and adherence to established deadlines. Potentially assist with payroll system conversion initiatives, including data validation, testing, and process improvements. What We're Looking For Must-Have Qualifications Extensive, hands-on ADP Workforce Now (WFN) expertise. This is the most critical requirement. Several years of progressive payroll experience, ideally at the Senior Specialist, Lead, Supervisor, or Manager level. Proven experience independently processing multi-state payroll. Strong knowledge of timekeeping systems, timecard management, and payroll corrections. Experience processing payroll for both hourly and salaried employee populations. Solid understanding of payroll accounting principles, including debits, credits, and reconciliations. Strong troubleshooting abilities and the confidence to research and resolve payroll issues independently. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively in a hands-on, industrial or operations-focused environment. Additional Experience That Will Set You Apart ADP Essential Time experience. Advanced ADP Workforce Now reporting capabilities. Union payroll processing experience. Ceridian Dayforce knowledge. Payroll system conversions, testing, and data validation. Experience supporting payroll across multiple companies or legal entities. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
