Our client is InSearch of a hands-on Payroll Manager to assist with and oversee payroll processing and independent contractor settlements for multiple locations across the United States on a weekly basis. This position performs a high volume of multi-state payroll processing with different pay schedules for internal staff and subcontractors, including payroll tax filing and expense reimbursements. Responsibilities Mentor payroll specialist(s) and participate in processing payroll to ensure accurate and timely processing of earnings, taxes, garnishments, benefits, and reimbursements Responsible for tax administration, including calculating and filing accurate and timely payment and reporting of payroll taxes Reconciles withholding, unemployment, and other payroll related tax returns Stay update-to-date on payroll best practices, laws, and regulations to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations and tax requirements Prepare month-end journal entries and assist with month-end closing duties pertaining to payroll Streamline payroll processing procedures to improve efficiency Manage payroll audits and prepare reports. Pay:

$70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
