This is a great opportunity for a payroll professional who enjoys owning a high-volume payroll function, leading a small team, and driving process improvements.

Responsibilities:

Process high-volume weekly payroll directly across multiple legal entities and locations. Lead and develop the payroll team while setting priorities and holding the team accountable. Manage tip pooling, tip reporting, and reconciliation of tip distributions to payroll. Ensure compliance with multi-state wage and hour requirements, including final pay, overtime, and garnishments. Oversee payroll tax administration and year-end W-2 processing. Partner with Finance on payroll general ledger reconciliations and labor reporting. Assess the current payroll department, build an improvement roadmap, and strengthen controls. Document payroll processes and procedures.

Requirements:

8+ years of progressive payroll experience, including managing a payroll function. Experience processing payroll for 600+ employees in a high-volume, multi-entity, multi-state environment. Strong knowledge of state wage and hour compliance, payroll tax administration, and year-end reporting. Advanced Excel skills for reconciling large data sets. A self-starter who can bring structure to a changing environment and drive improvements independently. Restaurant, hospitality, or tipped workforce experience is a plus. iSolved and TipHaus experience is a plus. #RJAF123
