Director of Payroll Job Summary:
The Director of Payroll at Skilled Nursing Facility is a highly sought-after opportunity for a talented professional to lead our payroll operations. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely payment of our staff, from certified nursing assistants to executive leadership. Located in Lakewood, NJ, our Skilled Nursing Facility is committed to providing exceptional care and support to our patients and residents. We are currently seeking a seasoned professional with a passion for payroll administration to join our team.
Responsibilities:
Manage the complete payroll process, from data processing to payment dissemination, to ensure accuracy and timeliness Develop and implement effective payroll procedures to optimize efficiency and minimize errors Collaborate with HR and other departments to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards Analyze and resolve payroll-related issues and discrepancies in a timely and professional manner Provide exceptional customer service to employees and management regarding payroll inquiries and concerns Maintain detailed records and reports for payroll purposes, ensuring accurate tracking of hours worked, wages, and benefits Stay up-to-date with changing regulations and developments in payroll administration, making recommendations for process improvements as needed
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in a related field At least 3 years experience as a payrol director Strong understanding of payroll regulations, laws, and best practices Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines Proficiency in payroll software and systems How to
