• Prepare accurate and timely client payrolls
• Prepare quarterly payroll tax filings and make payroll tax liability payments
• Oversee and resolve payroll tax notices and related issues
• Stay informed of new legislation and regulatory changes that impact payroll
• Review payroll policies and update procedures when required Team Leadership
• Supervise and direct the payroll team
• Assign and manage workload to meet deadlines

• Lead new payroll client setup and onboarding

• Strong working knowledge of payroll preparation, payroll taxes, deductions, benefits, and payroll compliance
• Experience preparing quarterly payroll tax filings and making payroll tax liability payments
• Demonstrated ability to lead, supervise, and organize the work of a payroll team
• Ability to interpret and apply payroll-related legislation and regulatory requirements
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and deadline-management skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to build client relationships and contribute to growth of payroll services
