Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Payroll & Benefits Manager to lead our payroll processing, benefits administration, and HR compliance initiatives. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the accurate and timely management of payroll systems, ensure adherence to employment laws, and administer employee benefits programs. Responsibilities Manage end-to-end payroll processing using systems Paycom, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all regulatory requirements. Administer employee benefits programs including health insurance, workers' compensation, FMLA leave, and retirement plans while maintaining compliance with HR legal standards like HIPAA and employment law. Oversee HRIS (Human Resources Information System) platforms such as Oracle HCM, Lawson, UltiPro, or PeopleSoft for data collection, reporting, and system support. Ensure adherence to HR legal compliance standards by staying current on employment & labor law updates and implementing necessary policy adjustments. Conduct data analysis to identify trends in payroll costs, benefits utilization, and employee relations metrics to inform strategic decision-making. Handle confidential information with integrity while managing regulatory reporting requirements related to payroll and benefits. Collaborate with cross-functional teams on employee orientation, evaluation processes, training & development initiatives, and employee relations activities. Support training efforts for HR systems users to optimize system utilization and data accuracy. Skills Extensive knowledge of payroll management systems such as Workday, ADP, Kronos, UltiPro, or Paylocity. Strong understanding of benefits administration including health insurance plans and workers' compensation procedures. In-depth familiarity with HR legal compliance standards including FMLA regulations, HIPAA privacy rules, and employment & labor law. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for data analysis and reporting purposes. Experience with HRIS platforms like Oracle HCM, Lawson, SAP SuccessFactors or PeopleSoft for effective system support. Excellent communication skills to clearly convey complex information to employees at all levels. Ability to handle sensitive information discreetly while maintaining confidentiality at all times. Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data trends for strategic insights into payroll & benefits operations.
