Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR/Payroll Clerk to join our dynamic human resources team. In this vital role, you will manage payroll processing, employee data entry, and benefits administration while ensuring compliance with employment laws and company policies. Your energetic approach will help streamline HR operations, support workforce management initiatives, and foster a positive employee experience. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to organizational success through efficient personnel administration and strategic HR support. Responsibilities Process payroll accurately and timely using HRIS systems such as Paychex, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements including FMLA and workers' compensation laws Maintain and update employee records, including onboarding, employee orientation, performance evaluations, and employee relations documentation Assist in benefits administration by enrolling employees in health plans, retirement programs, and other perks; handle inquiries related to benefits and compensation Ensure compliance with employment & labor law regulations by reviewing policies regularly and supporting affirmative action planning and organizational design initiatives Collect data for HR analytics using Excel data analysis techniques to support strategic planning and workforce management decisions Handle confidential information with integrity while managing personnel administration tasks such as leave management, FMLA documentation, and employment verification Skills Extensive experience in human resources management, payroll processing, and benefits administration Strong knowledge of employment law in talent management, HR legal compliance, and regulatory standards such as FMLA Excellent communication skills for employee relations, conflict management, training & development coordination, and effective collaboration across teams Demonstrated project management capabilities with the ability to handle multiple priorities within a fast-paced environment Familiarity with organization design, performance management processes, succession planning, and workforce management strategies Ability to handle administrative tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in data entry and personnel records management Join us to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to fostering a positive workplace culture through strategic human resources practices. Pay:
$20.00 - $21.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 - 43.0 per week
