We have immediate openings - start an exciting career with Moss Bros. Auto Group today! We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Payroll Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of payroll processing, payroll taxes, and payroll reporting, with at least 2 years of payroll experience . Experience in the automotive industry is highly preferred , and experience with Reynolds and Reynolds payroll software is strongly preferred . Key Responsibilities Process semi-monthly, bi-weekly, and monthly payrolls accurately and timely. Review and verify employee timekeeping, hours, deductions, bonuses, commissions, and other payroll-related information. Calculate and process payroll taxes, withholdings, deductions, and adjustments. Ensure payroll is processed in accordance with federal, state, and local requirements. Prepare and submit quarterly payroll tax filings and reports . Assist with year-end payroll processing, including W-2s and other required tax forms . Reconcile payroll reports and payroll-related accounts. Maintain accurate and confidential employee payroll records. Respond to employee questions regarding paychecks, deductions, taxes, and payroll issues. Research and resolve payroll discrepancies in a timely manner. Stay current with changes in payroll laws, tax regulations, and reporting requirements. Assist with audits and provide payroll documentation as needed. Perform other payroll and HR-related duties as assigned. Qualifications Minimum 2 years of payroll experience required. Experience processing semi-monthly, bi-weekly, and monthly payrolls . Strong knowledge of payroll taxes and payroll tax reporting. Experience preparing quarterly payroll tax filings . Experience with Reynolds and Reynolds payroll software strongly preferred. Automotive dealership or automotive industry payroll experience highly preferred. Knowledge of federal and state payroll regulations. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee and payroll information. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
