Mississippi Valley Farm Business Association is seeking a Payroll Specialist to join its team in Nichols, IA. As a Payroll Specialist , the successful candidate will play a key role in supporting clients' financial and payroll needs. Key Responsibilities:
Complete bookkeeping tasks and reconcile bank statements Process weekly and monthly payroll requests Prepare and submit client quarterly, and year-end tax filings Electronically file W-2's, 1099's, state and Federal tax forms and reports Assist in resolving client payroll Federal State tax inquiries and questions Maintain communication with clients concerning payroll tax law changes
Job Requirements:
High school diploma/GED, required; associate or bachelor's degree, preferred 2+ years of payroll experience required Tax experience and familiarity with Iowa Sales Tax is aplus Familiarity with accounting software (PC Mars, QuickBooks, etc.) Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. Ready to put your bookkeeping and payroll expertise to work with a trusted organization?
