Payroll Specialist at Administration Office Starting pay $30.57 an hour Full time 8 hours/day, 40 hours/week, 261 days per year with vacation and leave days •All employees must complete a nationwide criminal history
Qualifications:
1. Related post-secondary education from an accredited college, university or business school preferred but not required. 2. Experience in payroll processing. 3. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.

Director of Business Operations Job Goal:
To assure smooth and efficient operation of the corporation office so that the office's maximum positive impact on the education of children can be realized.
Performance Responsibilities:
1. Process biweekly payroll for all employees. 2. Coordinate in conjunction with Human Resource personnel concerning all relevant employment information including new hires, termination/retirements/resignations, deductions, employee absences, etc. 3. Update all compensation schedules including teaching (regular and temporary) contracts and addenda, support staff, substitutes and extra-curricular activities. 4. Maintain computerized employee records. 5. Process all reporting processes in accordance with guidelines established by all relevant governmental agencies including payroll reporting, withholding taxes, retirement, and Section 125 benefits. 6. Process all deductions and/or benefit remittances in conjunction with accounts payable and human resources. 7. Process court interrogatories, garnishments, property taxes withholdings, etc. 8. Prepare salary history reports upon request. 9. Collaborate with all other central office clerical positions to initiate effective cross training practices. 10. Perform general office functions such as answering telephones, monitoring radio, sending facsimiles, filing, copying, data entry, etc. 11. Perform other tasks as may be delegated.
