The Payroll Administrator will be responsible for all daily tasks and associated functions listed below in reference to the Job Title. Specific Duties Maintain ADP payroll information by collecting, calculating, and entering data into ADP Workforce Now Update and maintain payroll records routinely (i.e. exemptions, rates, savings/checking deductions, union dues, garnishments, tax levies, loans, benefit deductions, etc.) Prepare reports by compiling summaries of earnings, taxes, deductions, leave, disability, and non-taxable wages Prepare unemployment requests through MA DUA portal Prepare Workers Compensation Insurance requests Resolve payroll discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information from time and attendance Provide employee support by answering payroll questions and requests Maintain payroll operations by following policies and procedures Generate and complete weekly payroll registers Adhere to contract language when maintaining Union employee information Assist the HR Manager as needed Other Duties Work as a team with other office employees as needed Assist with various other office functions as needed Qualifications/Skills Strong numerical proficiency Proficient with calculator operations Ability to maintain confidentiality Working knowledge and experience with ADP or payroll software Ability to work with Excel Familiar with Union contracts as it relates to payroll Excellent communication skills Ability to climb stairs (2nd floor office)
