This position is ideal for someone who is highly organized, accurate, and comfortable managing payroll processes in a hands-on environment. The role focuses on supporting full-cycle payroll operations for a multi-state employee population while using strong Excel skills to maintain precision and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

Process full-cycle payroll for employees across multiple states with a high level of accuracy and timeliness Review payroll data, validate earnings and deductions, and resolve discrepancies before final submission Use Excel to organize, audit, and reconcile payroll information from various sources Maintain employee payroll records and ensure updates are entered correctly in ADP Workforce Now Support payroll activities for an employee population ranging from approximately 101 to 500 workers Investigate payroll issues and respond to questions regarding pay, deductions, and related records Perform routine checks to confirm compliance with internal payroll procedures and applicable regulations Assist with payroll-related administrative tasks and contribute to process improvements in a manual payroll environment Experience managing full-cycle payroll from preparation through final processing Background handling payroll for employees working in more than one state Proficiency with ADP Workforce Now in a payroll setting Strong Excel skills, including the ability to review, organize, and reconcile detailed data High attention to detail and the ability to work accurately in a manual payroll process Experience supporting payroll for organizations with approximately 101 to 500 employees Ability to work onsite in Garner, North Carolina Strong problem-solving and communication skills when addressing payroll questions and discrepancies Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
