Type:

full-time A rapidly expanding organization in the consumer sector is seeking a Payroll Analyst to join its U.S. payroll team. This position plays a key role in ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely payroll operations across a multi?state employee population. The role is based onsite four days per week, with remote work on Fridays. Key Responsibilities Payroll Operations Process weekly or bi?weekly payrolls for exempt and non?exempt employees across multiple states Maintain employee payroll records, including new hires, terminations, tax updates, benefit deductions, direct deposits, and status changes Review and process timesheets, adjustments, retroactive payments, and special payroll transactions Generate and distribute employee payments Support payroll reconciliations and reporting for internal teams Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations Equity and Special Payroll Transactions Assist with payroll activities related to equity compensation, including RSU vesting and stock option exercises Partner with internal teams to ensure accurate taxation and reporting of equity?related payroll impacts Support bonus cycles, annual salary adjustments, and year?end payroll processing Compliance and Analysis Analyze complex pay scenarios and identify discrepancies Investigate payroll issues and collaborate with internal teams to determine root causes Implement corrective actions and process improvements to reduce future errors Process garnishments and other legally required deductions Systems and Process Improvement Utilize enterprise payroll systems, with a strong preference for experience in Oracle Fusion Payroll Participate in system testing, enhancements, and documentation Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to streamline payroll workflows Collaboration Support internal and external audits Build effective working relationships across HR, Finance, Accounting, Payroll Tax, and external vendors Assist with special projects and additional duties as assigned Qualifications APA certification (CPP or FPC) preferred Minimum of 5 years of multi?state payroll experience in a high?volume environment Experience with equity?related payroll transactions is a plus Strong knowledge of payroll tax compliance Experience with enterprise payroll systems, ideally Oracle Fusion Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, and data analysis Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams High level of professionalism and ability to maintain confidentiality Experience with global payroll considerations is beneficial Bachelor's degree preferred
