Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Payroll Specialist and become a vital part of our finance and HR operations! In this role, you will manage payroll processing with precision, ensuring timely and accurate compensation for all employees. You will handle complex payroll systems, maintain compliance with labor and tax laws, and safeguard confidential information. Your expertise will support the seamless integration of payroll functions within our broader accounting and HR frameworks, contributing to the overall efficiency and integrity of our financial operations. Responsibilities Process payroll accurately and efficiently using various payroll systems such as Workday, ADP, Paychex, Ceridian, UltiPro, Kronos, PeopleSoft, and other supported platforms Reconcile payroll data with general ledger accounts and ensure proper journal entries are recorded for each pay cycle Maintain compliance with employment laws, tax regulations, and labor standards across multiple jurisdictions Manage employee data entry in HRIS (Human Resource Information Systems) and time & attendance systems to ensure accurate recordkeeping Prepare and review payroll reports, tax filings, and audit documentation to ensure accuracy and regulatory adherence Collaborate with HR and finance teams to resolve payroll discrepancies or issues promptly Handle sensitive information with confidentiality while supporting payroll management and accounting processes Requirements Proven experience working with payroll systems such as Workday, ADP, Paychex, Kronos, UltiPro, or Ceridian Strong knowledge of employment & labor law, payroll tax law, and financial concepts related to payroll processing Proficiency in accounting software, spreadsheets (Excel), and general ledger accounting practices Experience with HRIS platforms and time & attendance systems for data management and reporting purposes Familiarity with double entry bookkeeping, journal entries, account reconciliation, debits & credits within a corporate accounting environment Ability to analyze data accurately, handle confidential information securely, and maintain compliance with relevant regulations Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in payroll management tasks Join us to leverage your technical expertise in payroll systems while supporting a collaborative team dedicated to operational excellence!

$26.48 - $31.88 per hour
