Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Payroll Administrator to oversee and manage the company's agricultural payroll functions. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing payroll accurately and efficiently, maintaining payroll systems, and ensuring compliance with relevant employment and labor laws. This role requires handling confidential information with integrity, investigating payroll discrepancies, and identifying processing inefficiencies to optimize payroll operations. Being an Ag. company payroll can get complicated fast, we need someone that can handle the ever changing environment that is Agriculture itself. Duties
  • Process employee payroll accurately and timely using various payroll systems and software.
  • Manage and maintain payroll data within spreadsheets, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
  • Handle all aspects of payroll management, including calculating wages, deductions, bonuses, and benefits.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable employment laws, tax regulations, and labor standards related to payroll processing.
  • Investigate payroll discrepancies promptly to identify errors or irregularities.
  • Look for inefficiencies in payroll processing workflows and recommend improvements.
  • Manage time and attendance data through dedicated systems to ensure accurate recording of employee hours.
  • Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Stay updated on changes in payroll tax regulations and employment law affecting payroll procedures. Requirements
  • Proven experience in payroll processing and administration.
  • Proficiency with payroll systems, time & attendance software, and spreadsheet tools such as Excel.
  • Strong understanding of payroll tax regulations, employment law, and labor standards.
  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to investigate discrepancies thoroughly.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
  • Analytical mindset to identify process inefficiencies and suggest improvements.
  • Good communication skills for collaborating with HR, finance, and other departments.

$24.00 - $32.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 - 40.0 per week
