Job Description

BOC Bank is seeking a customer-oriented individual to join our team at our Miami location. This is a growth role designed for someone eager to learn different aspects of banking, expand their knowledge base, and build a lasting career in a supportive, community-driven environment. The Universal Banker position requires a detail-oriented, customer-focused individual who shares our dedication to providing quality banking services with a friendly, professional approach. You will be an essential part of our Miami team, handling both customer-facing and back-office operations while building meaningful relationships with clients and colleagues alike.
Key Responsibilities Account Services:
Open new accounts for customers, accurately process paperwork, and assist with existing account maintenance, updates, and inquiries.
Teller Operations:
Efficiently and accurately process teller functions including deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, payments, and money orders. Count and balance cash drawers with precision.
Customer Relationship Building:
Greet customers, provide exceptional service, address their needs and inquiries, and build strong, lasting relationships.
Compliance & Accuracy:
Adhere to bank policies and procedures to ensure compliance with federal regulations and maintain high accuracy in all transaction and account processing.
Problem Resolution:
Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues efficiently and professionally, referring to appropriate departments when necessary.
Cross-Selling:
Promote and recommend bank products and services, helping customers find financial solutions that suit their needs.
Team Collaboration:
Support other team members and participate in training and development activities to contribute to the efficient operation of the branch.
Requirements Experience & Education:
High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Banking Proficiency:
Prior proficiency in account opening procedures and standard teller operations are preferred, but not required.
Growth Mindset:
Willingness to learn and grow in other banking functions.
Key Skills:
Strong attention to detail, superior verbal and written communication skills, and comfort handling financial transactions.

Team-oriented with a professional, positive attitude and demeanor.
Compensation & Benefits Competitive Pay:
Starting at $12/hour, with higher compensation based on experience.
Great Hours:
Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 4:00 pm — with most holidays off!
