This position is accountable for providing a broad range of administrative support to the Investment brokers. The Investment Assistant I reports to the Senior Investment Assistant. Major Duties and Responsibilities Client Appointment Preparation - update of client transaction history. Review files and highlights opportunities for additional business. Prepare hypothetical illustrations, college, retirement, and estate planning, insurance quotes as needed by the Financial Consultant(s). Fields incoming telephone calls for the Infinex/Brokerage Program at Thomaston Savings Bank. Answers client questions whenever possible. Research and discuss with Financial Consultants any complex issues. Works closely with Financial Consultants to resolve issues and provide high quality customer service. Address any maintenance or operational issues involving client accounts. Contact existing clients on a regular basis. Schedule annual, semi-annual or quarterly reviews as required. Manages CRM database for service of specific client needs. Review files and update status as necessary. Works closely with Infinex to implement new procedures and business practices on an ongoing basis per Infinex training and business development departments while acting as liason between TFS and marketing to develop and implement campaigns, mailers and branch promotions. Review all client paperwork completed by Financial Consultant (s). Forward all documents as required. Create client files and update as necessary. Direct existing clients - Meet with existing clients for service and sales issues including additional deposits, withdrawals, NIGO's, and any other necessary administrative tasks. Communicate with branches regarding Financial Consultant(s) schedule. Schedules appointments that come in as referrals from the branches and wholesalers. Maintains Financial Consultant(s) calendar updates as to meetings with product partners, client appointments, etc. Work closely with branch staff to provide high quality customer service. Assist branch staff with training and developmental needs relative to the overall program and making high value leads. Must comply with all company policies and procedures, applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control.
