Role Description The Student Finance Advisor is a part-time, on-site role based at the UEI College campus in Stone Mountain, GA. This position supports students in understanding and managing their financial aid options, including grants, loans, payment plans, and other funding sources. Day-to-day responsibilities include meeting with prospective and current students, explaining financial policies and procedures, assisting with completion of financial aid applications and documentation, and maintaining accurate records in college systems. The advisor collaborates with admissions, academic, and student services teams to ensure a smooth financial experience and to help students make informed decisions about financing their education. The role also involves ongoing student communication, compliance with regulatory and institutional guidelines, and participation in campus events and meetings as needed. Qualifications Demonstrated skills in Finance and Financial Planning to guide students through education funding options. Ability to provide Financial Advisory support, including Retirement Planning and basic Investments guidance when relevant to students' overall financial situations. Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills with the ability to explain complex information clearly. Attention to detail, accuracy in data entry, and ability to work with confidential information in compliance with regulations. Proficiency with office software and student information or financial aid systems; experience in education or financial services is preferred. High school diploma or equivalent required; postsecondary education in finance, business, or a related field is a plus. Ability to work on-site in Stone Mountain, GA, and collaborate effectively with diverse students and colleagues.
