We are seeking an experienced Wealth Management Advisor with a strong background in comprehensive financial planning to join Maridea Wealth Management—ranked as one of the top 10 fastest-growing RIAs in the country by Financial Advisor Magazine and an honoree on the 2026 Inc. Best Workplaces list. This role is designed for a detail-oriented professional who excels at delivering holistic wealth planning strategies and is motivated to grow their own practice. You will work with clients across retirement, tax-efficient investing, estate planning, and risk management, using a consultative, planning-led approach to build trust and expand your client base. Our firm provides full operational, technology, and back-office support, allowing you to focus on client relationships, financial strategy, and business development. Key Responsibilities Financial Planning & Wealth Advisory Lead the financial planning process for new and existing clients, delivering customized plans covering retirement, tax strategies, estate planning, and asset allocation. Utilize advanced planning software (e.g., eMoney, RightCapital) to build, present, and monitor long-term financial roadmaps. Conduct regular client review meetings to evaluate portfolio performance, update financial plans, and address shifting financial goals. Business Development & Client Acquisition Develop and execute a personal business plan to acquire new client relationships through referrals, strategic partner networks (CPAs, estate attorneys), and local outreach. Translate client goals into actionable advice, demonstrating the value of our firm's fee-based wealth management services. Onboard new clients smoothly, including any portable client relationships you may bring to the firm. Portfolio Management & Compliance Align client investment strategies with their overall financial plan and risk tolerance. Oversee portfolio rebalancing, asset allocation adjustments, and tax-loss harvesting in accordance with firm guidelines. Ensure full compliance with SEC regulations, state RIA requirements, and internal policies.
Qualifications Experience:
5-10+ years of experience in financial planning or client-facing wealth management within an RIA, wirehouse, or bank environment.
Education & Credentials:
Active Series 65 license (or Series 7 and 66 combined). Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation preferred (or active candidacy near completion).
Technical Skills:
Proficiency with financial planning software (e.g., eMoney, RightCapital), CRM platforms (Redtail, Salesforce), and custodian interfaces (Charles Schwab, Fidelity, etc.).
Key Attributes:
Strong interpersonal skills, technical aptitude in personal finance, and a proactive approach to client outreach and practice growth. Bringing an existing book of business is a plus, but not required.
