Job Description
Constellation Energy is seeking a Sr RXS Specialist to drive analytics, pricing, and portfolio optimization for our retail energy portfolio. In this role, you will analyze market conditions, load forecasts, and risk exposures to develop and refine RXS strategies that support profitability and customer value. You will build and maintain models, dashboards, and reports to monitor performance, guide trading and pricing decisions, and ensure compliance with market rules and regulations. Partnering closely with trading, risk, finance, and sales, you'll support new product initiatives, recommend pricing adjustments, and identify process improvements and automation opportunities. Responsibilities Monitor and optimize retail energy pricing structures and RTO/ISO settlements for residential and small business customers Analyze market trends, load forecasts, and risk exposure to support pricing and risk management decisions Develop and maintain RXS models, tools, and reports to improve portfolio performance and margin optimization Collaborate with trading, risk, finance, and sales teams to align pricing strategies with corporate goals Prepare and present analytics, performance dashboards, and recommendations to senior stakeholders Ensure compliance with regulatory and market rules across assigned regions and products Support new product development and pilots through data-driven pricing and profitability analysis Identify process improvement opportunities and support automation of recurring analyses Required Skills Retail energy pricing Power and gas market analysis Risk modeling and portfolio analytics Advanced Excel and financial modeling SQL and relational databases R or Python for data analysis Forecasting and load modeling RTO/ISO settlements knowledge Regulatory and compliance awareness in energy markets Data visualization and dashboard reporting
