Job Description

Thompson Staffing is seeking a Florida Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) for a direct-hire opportunity with a company located in North Miami, Florida. This is a field-based position. The ideal candidate will have experience conducting Property Condition Assessments (PCAs), Structural Integrity Reserve Studies (SIRS), and Safety Inspections , along with strong technical report writing and review capabilities. Key Responsibilities Conduct Property Condition Assessments (PCAs) in accordance with ASTM Standard

E2018-24

. Perform Structural Integrity Reserve Studies (SIRS) and safety inspections. Draft, review, and finalize engineering reports. Serve as the final technical reviewer for Property Condition Assessment reports prepared by engineering staff prior to delivery to clients. Sign and seal engineering reports in accordance with applicable Florida professional engineering requirements. Conduct on-site property evaluations and inspections. Ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable engineering standards and regulations. Required Qualifications Active Professional Engineer (PE) license in the State of Florida. Proficiency in conducting Property Condition Assessments in accordance with

ASTM E2018-24.

Experience with Structural Integrity Reserve Studies and safety inspections. Ability to independently review, finalize, sign, and seal engineering reports within the scope of professional licensure. Strong technical writing, analytical, and communication skills. Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to inspection sites. Must be authorized to work in the United States.
