Expected salary range of $119,700 to $133,000, varies based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401(k). Primary Purpose of Position Performs advanced regulatory/technical problem solving in support of nuclear plant operations. Responsible for regulatory/technical decisions. Possesses excellent knowledge in functional discipline and its practical application and has detailed knowledge of applicable industry codes and regulations. Primary Duties and Accountabilities Provide in-depth regulatory/technical expertise to develop, manage and implement regulatory analyses, activities and programs. Provide regulatory/technical expertise and consultation through direct involvement to identify and resolve regulatory issues. Provide complete task management of regulatory issues. Perform regulatory tasks as assigned by supervision. Accountable for the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of work ensuring poor licensing basis management and assuring that standard design criteria, practices, procedures, regulations and codes are used in preparation of products. Perform independent research, reviews, studies and analyses in support of regulatory/technical projects and programs. Recommend new concepts and techniques to improve performance, simplify operation, reduce costs, reduce regulatory burden, correct regulatory non-compliances, or comply with changes in codes or regulations. All other job assignments and/or duties pursuant to company policy or as directed by management to include but not limited to: (Emergency Response duties and/or coverage, Department duty coverage and/or call out, and positions outside of department in support of outage activities etc.). Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in engineering (chemical, civil/structural, electrical, industrial, mechanical or nuclear) or technical discipline (e.g. chemistry, computer science, mathematics, or physics) with 5 years of industry experience or 3 years of Constellation Reactor Services department experience OR Current or previous Senior Reactor Operator license with 5 years of industry experience or 3 years of Constellation Reactor Services experience department OR Associate's degree and a minimum of 8 years of related experience (3 of the 8 years must be at the exempt level) OR High school diploma/GED and a minimum of 10 years of related experience (5 of the 10 years must be at the exempt level) OR Maintain minimum access requirement or unescorted access requirements, as applicable, and favorable medical examination and/or testing in accordance with position duties Preferred Qualifications Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to clearly communicate complex technical and regulatory matters to a range of audiences Experience in regulatory affairs or working with federal or state regulatory agencies, such as the NRC, EPA, or FEMA Knowledge of NRC regulations, regulatory guidance, and nuclear power plant licensing processes Experience interpreting regulatory requirements and preparing licensing correspondence, evaluations, or submittals Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with engineering, operations, legal, and other cross-functional stakeholders Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to exercise sound judgment and manage multiple priorities
