Type:

full-time The Cross-Desk Efficiency Associate supports multiple desks by centralizing common desk processes, providing business and execution analytics, strengthening front-office controls, and identifying opportunities for automation and standardization. The role works closely with traders but does not have trading or market-risk-taking responsibilities. Trading desks retain ownership of pricing, hedging and risk decision Key Responsibilities P&L quality control Reconcile desk's flash P&L against the official P&L Run P&L explainers Sales credit and mark-up reconciliations Business analytics Analyze lost RFQs across key parameters (price, latency, skew, size, venue, competitive behavior) and analyze bad fills, flow quality, and adverse selection. Analyze execution performance and identify potential improvements to pricing controls, including spread, skew and size rules, for review and approval by the relevant trading desk. Produce and maintain business reports covering volumes, P&L, hit/miss ratios, RFQs, client activity, and electronic vs. voice execution. Market Data & Platform Controls Upload volatility calibration Totem submissions (Term SOFR and vol surfaces) Maintain trader-approved market data, calibration inputs, hedging instruments (UST, futures, options on futures, etc.) and platform configurations across supported desks and systems CCPs fire drills Position & Trade Controls Identify and investigate front-office position and booking discrepancies, coordinating resolution with the relevant Trading, Middle Office and Back Office teams. Validate front-office positions following portfolio compression and escalate discrepancies Efficiency, Automation & Desk Tools Identify and implement opportunities for process automation and AI-enabled workflow improvements across desks Model trades in pricing tools Provide cross-desk support for exceptional operational, control, and platform-related situations Requirements Experience supporting front-office Markets desks, electronic markets businesses, or related control/analytics functions. Proficiency in Python for business reporting, quantitative analysis, and process automation. Solid understanding of financial products including U.S. Treasuries, futures, benchmark hedges, Term SOFR, and volatility surfaces. Working knowledge of electronic pricing controls and execution analytics in electronic trading platform configuration, pricing parameters (spread, skew, size rules), and market execution analytics. Strong background in desk P&L reconciliation, position management, P&L explainers, and cross-functional collaboration with Finance, Middle Office, and Back Office. Familiarity with front-office trading platforms, volatility calibration tools, Totem, and portfolio compression workflows. Technical background (majors in Math, Engineering, Physics, etc.) 4 years of experience All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran. With respect to this position in our New York Office, the expected base salary ranges from $100,000 to $120,000. It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to salary and a generous employee benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
