Senior Tax Manager Location:

Jackson, MS Overview A nationally recognized accounting and advisory firm is seeking a Senior Tax Manager in the Jackson, Mississippi metro. A hybrid arrangement is available on request, with some travel (about 15%) to another office in the state. Responsibilities Maintain and strengthen client relationships to support retention Provide final technical review of tax returns and documents Research tax issues and develop recommendations Stay current on changes in tax law and accounting procedures Plan, organize and schedule work to ensure all deadlines are met Direct and develop staff and supervisors and set budgets Build internal and external networks to develop new business Manage billing, collections, WIP and write-downs Facilitate in-house CPE and training Qualifications CPA, EA or JD required (CPA preferred) Minimum 10 years of public accounting experience Business development experience in a CPA firm preferred Demonstrated leadership and decision-making skills Ability to prioritize a heavy workload under pressure If you are interested in connecting further about this opportunity or other public accounting opportunities, please apply here or email me directly at austin.eppard@gogpac.com or call/text (605) 872-5131.
