Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Tax Manager - Public to join a client-focused accounting practice in Detroit, Michigan. This role is ideal for a Client Facing Leader with experience working with High Net Worth Individuals who can lead complex engagements involving closely held businesses, trusts, and estates while also building strong relationships in the local market. The successful candidate will combine technical knowledge with a visible presence in the business community to help expand client partnerships and support continued growth.

Responsibilities:

Leading client relationships for private clientsProviding tax planning for individuals, trusts, estates, gifts, and pass-through entitiesAdvising on wealth transfer, succession, and estate planningCoordinating with attorneys, investment advisors, and family office professionalsOverseeing compliance and consulting engagementsDeveloping business and mentoring staff
