The ideal candidate possesses significant experience in corporate, partnership, individual, trust, and estate taxation, along with a strong ability to provide proactive tax planning and advisory services to high-net-worth individuals, families, and closely held businesses. This role requires a trusted advisor mindset, combining technical expertise with exceptional client service, leadership, and relationship management skills. They proactively identify tax-saving opportunities, provide timely planning advice, leverage technology and research tools effectively, and contribute to the continued growth of the firm and its clients. Partner-Track Considerations Candidates demonstrating exceptional client relationship management, technical expertise, leadership, and business development capabilities may be considered for future leadership and partner-track opportunities. Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and review Forms 1120, 1120S, 1065, 1040, 1041, 706, and 709.
  • Review workpapers and supporting documentation for accuracy and completeness.
  • Manage multiple engagements while ensuring compliance and quality standards. Tax Planning & Advisory
  • Provide proactive tax planning for high-net-worth individuals, families, and business owners.
  • Develop strategies involving income tax reduction, wealth preservation, estate and gift planning, trust planning, succession planning, entity structuring, PTET planning, and exit planning.
  • Collaborate with attorneys, wealth advisors, bankers, and other advisors. Technical Research & Consultation
  • Research complex tax matters using Thomson Reuters Checkpoint and CoCounsel.
  • Interpret tax law, regulations, IRS guidance, and court decisions.
  • Prepare technical memoranda, client correspondence, and planning recommendations. Client Relationship Management
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients.
  • Lead planning meetings and advisory discussions.
  • Develop relationships with business owners, executives, and high-net-worth individuals. Leadership & Staff Development
  • Supervise, train, and mentor tax professionals.
  • Review staff work and provide technical coaching.
  • Assist with scheduling, workflow management, and engagement planning. Practice Development
  • Expand existing client relationships.
  • Identify additional service opportunities.
  • Participate in networking and business development activities. Qualifications
  • CPA license required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Taxation, or related field.
  • Master's degree in Accounting, Taxation, or related field a plus.
  • 8+ years of public accounting tax experience.
  • Experience in corporate, partnership, individual, trust, and estate taxation.
  • Experience providing planning and consulting services to high-net-worth clients and closely held businesses. Technology Requirements

Pay:
$90,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
