full-time One of our very early-stage AI portfolio companies building in the fintech infrastructure space is looking to hire a Tax Expert to help drive product development. Responsibilities Translate real-world tax workflows into product improvements Prepare and review individual income tax returns Identify tax edge cases, complex scenarios, and ways to break the product Bring your tax preparation experience to help shape the product roadmap Work directly with engineers to explain tax rules and expected outcomes Qualifications A keen desire to be part of the earliest part of startup journey Certified Public Accountant. Experienced Enrolled Agents may also be considered Experience preparing individual tax returns (1040s) using professional tax software such as ProSystem, GoSystem, UltraTax, CCH, Lacerte, and Drake Experienced reviewing tax returns, not just preparing them Strong understanding of U.S. federal individual income tax Excellent written and verbal communication, collaboration, and organization skills Please apply to this role directly on .
