The ideal candidate must have at least 3 years of tax preparation experience. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of financial concepts and be adept at using accounting software to assist clients with their tax preparation needs. This role is essential in ensuring compliance with tax regulations while providing exceptional customer service to our clients. Duties Prepare and file federal and state tax returns for individuals and businesses. Review financial records, including income statements and documentation of expenditures. Analyze tax data to identify potential deductions and credits. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance. Provide guidance to clients on tax-related inquiries, offering sound advice based on their financial situations. Collaborate with other accounting professionals to ensure accuracy in reporting. Utilize accounting software, such as Sage, to streamline the preparation process. Assist in corporate accounting tasks as needed, including technical accounting support. Skills Proficient in accounting software and tools. Strong understanding of corporate accounting principles and public accounting practices. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate complex financial concepts clearly. Knowledge of financial concepts related to market trends and sales implications. Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills for reviewing financial data accurately. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
