The Bank Teller serves as the first point of contact for customers and is responsible for processing financial transactions accurately and efficiently while providing exceptional customer service. Responsibilities Process customer transactions including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, transfers, and check cashing. Balance cash drawer and maintain accurate transaction records. Verify customer identity and ensure compliance with banking policies and procedures. Assist customers with account inquiries and basic banking services. Promote bank products and services by identifying customer needs and making appropriate referrals. Resolve customer concerns and escalate complex issues when necessary. Maintain confidentiality and security of customer information. Follow all bank regulations, operational procedures, and compliance requirements. Qualifications High school diploma or GED. Previous cash-handling experience . Previous banking experience . Strong customer service and communication skills. Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn banking software. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to perform mathematical calculations quickly and accurately. Ability to pass background and pre-employment screening requirements.
