Part-time, non-exempt; eligible for incentive Reports to: Retail Market Manager About the Opportunity Enjoy helping customers and working with numbers? Join Sauk Valley Bank as a part-time Teller. In this role, you'll help customers with everyday banking transactions, build positive relationships, and connect customers with banking products and services that fit their needs. What You'll Do Process deposits, checks, withdrawals, cash advances, and loan payments accurately and efficiently. Verify transaction documents, authorizations, and limits. Balance your cash drawer daily and process account activity using bank systems. Assist with night deposits, change orders, official checks, license plate stickers, savings bond redemptions, and hold orders. Answer customer questions and resolve routine concerns within your authority. Identify opportunities to introduce bank products and services and refer customers to the appropriate team members. Follow bank policies, procedures, and applicable banking regulations. Work respectfully, uphold commitments, demonstrate integrity, and complete other duties as assigned. What You'll Bring High school diploma or GED. Basic computer skills. Intermediate math skills and the ability to count currency, coins, and negotiable instruments accurately and efficiently. Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Good organization, time management, and routine problem-solving skills.
