Join our Team. We are hiring! First National Bank of Nokomis Stonington Branch (Stonington National Bank) is currently accepting applications for a part-time teller. Must be friendly, energetic, detail oriented, and have a good understanding of computers. Cash handling experience a plus. This position would be part-time as needed. We are open Monday-Friday. Saturdays are half days, 8:00am-12:00pm. At minimum, this would be two days a week and every other Saturday. If this sounds like the right opportunity for you, we hope you apply today!

Responsibilities:

Greet customers warmly and assist them with their banking transactions timely and accurately, including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments and account inquiries Open new checking, savings & CD accounts Verify customer identities and ensure compliance with security procedures during transactions Effectively keeping a cash drawer in balance each day Completing or checking reports as needed Manage incoming calls and assist customers in a professional manner Have knowledge of and uphold all bank policies and procedures Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Related experience either in an office setting or cash handling is a plus Computer experience, including Microsoft Office products preferred Available benefits for part-time employees are Group Term Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, Employee Assistance Program & an Annual Bonus. 401(k) is offered at 1 year of employment. This is a part-time, non-exempt position. The successful completion of a pre-employment consumer credit check and background check is required.
