Responsibilities Process a wide range of cash transactions accurately, including deposits, withdrawals, and payments, ensuring strict adherence to cash handling procedures and banking regulations. Provide outstanding customer service by greeting clients warmly, understanding their needs, and offering tailored solutions to enhance their banking experience. Manage customer relationships through effective communication, active listening, and personalized assistance to build long-term trust and satisfaction. Identify opportunities for upselling banking products and services such as loans, credit cards, or savings accounts to meet customer needs and achieve sales goals. Detect and prevent potential fraud by monitoring transactions for suspicious activity and following established fraud prevention protocols. Maintain a well-organized cash drawer and reconcile cash balances at the end of each shift using banking software and retail math skills. Stay informed about industry knowledge of financial regulations, banking products, and compliance standards to ensure all activities meet regulatory requirements. Qualifications Proven experience in customer service within a retail or financial setting is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is essential. Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and familiarity with banking software systems. Excellent basic math skills including cash management, cashiering, debits & credits, and 10-key typing accuracy. Knowledge of financial sales techniques such as upselling and relationship management to enhance client engagement. Understanding of industry standards related to financial compliance, including anti-fraud measures and banking regulations. Ability to handle cash drawer operations confidently while maintaining accuracy during high-volume transactions. Pay:
$17.00 - $19.00 per hour Expected hours: 30.0 per week
