This role supports branch growth by building relationships, identifying customer needs, and ensuring compliance with all bank policies and applicable regulations. Job Functions Process routine financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, wires, payments, and check cashing Balance cash drawer and maintain proper cash controls in accordance with bank procedures Open and service consumer and business accounts, including checking, savings, CDs, and IRAs Explain account products, services, fees, and disclosures clearly to customers Verify customer identity and documentation in compliance with CIP and regulatory requirements Identify customer needs and cross-sell appropriate bank products and services Assist customers with digital banking, debit cards, and general account inquiries Maintain accurate records and documentation for all transactions and account openings Follow security procedures and report suspicious activity per BSA/AML guidelines Provide professional, courteous service and resolve customer issues promptly Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required 1-2 years of customer service, cash handling, or banking experience preferred Ability to pass background check in accordance with banking regulations Skills Required Strong customer service and relationship-building skills High attention to detail and accuracy Effective verbal and written communication skills Ability to handle cash transactions efficiently and accurately Problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment Basic computer and banking system proficiency Sales orientation with ability to identify customer needs Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred Minimum Physical Abilities Ability to stand or sit for extended periods Ability to use hands to handle cash, paperwork, and operate computers Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds Visual ability to read screens, documents, and verify transaction details Ability to communicate clearly in person and by phone
