Job Summary We are seeking a Part-Time, customer-focused Teller/Customer Service Representative to join our financial services team. In this role, you will be the friendly face of our institution, providing exceptional service while managing daily banking transactions and fostering strong customer relationships. Your energetic approach will help promote our banking products, ensure compliance with financial regulations, and support the overall growth of our client base. Responsibilities Process cash transactions accurately, including deposits, withdrawals, and payments, while handling cash drawer with precision and integrity. Deliver outstanding customer service by greeting clients warmly, answering inquiries, and resolving issues promptly to enhance customer satisfaction. Promote banking products and services through upselling opportunities, including loans, savings accounts, and financial software solutions. Manage customer relationships by identifying their financial needs and offering tailored solutions to foster long-term loyalty. Ensure compliance with banking regulations and financial policies by adhering to industry standards for fraud prevention, financial compliance, and security protocols. Utilize banking software and Microsoft Office tools to record transactions, update account information, and generate reports efficiently. Assist in loan origination and processing activities by collecting necessary documentation, verifying information, and supporting the loan approval process. Maintain accurate records of all transactions, perform basic math calculations including debits & credits, and handle cash management duties with attention to detail. Experience Previous experience in banking or retail sales is preferred but not required; a strong desire to learn about financial services is essential. Demonstrated proficiency with cash handling, cashiering procedures, and basic math skills such as retail math and 10-key typing. Familiarity with banking software systems and financial software applications is highly advantageous. Knowledge of financial regulations, industry standards for fraud detection, and compliance procedures will support success in this role. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and build rapport with diverse clients. Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
