Responsible for servicing the needs of Peshtigo National Bank customers by processing transactions efficiently, professionally, and accurately. Identifies customer needs and promotes bank products and services. Maintains the Bank's standards and mission statement, including exceptional customer service. This position will work between two of the branches for coverage.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Services customer accounts and requests accurately in accordance with bank policy and procedure. Accepts and processes deposits, withdrawals, transfers, check cashing and loan payments. Issues money orders, cashier checks, and redeems US Saving Bonds. Maintains established control for check holds, stop payments, and customer identification procedures.
Processes night deposits and mail transactions.
Processes commercial transaction and change orders, as well as payments for loans.
Processes CTR's, SAR's, monetary instrument documents, and cash logs as applicable.
Balances CSR cash drawer daily according to the banks procedures. Maintains accurate balancing and variation records that meets bank guidelines. Maintains all audit requirements.
Maintains good customer relations by answering customer questions; explaining policies and directing customers to appropriate departments. Promotes a positive image of Peshtigo National Bank with all customers.
Cross sells bank products and services to customers upon review of customer accounts.
Assists in general office duties including telephone, mail, filing, shredding documents, count and roll coin, and count and band paper money.
Remains at the office after closing to complete end-of-day duties.
Opens (closes) checking, savings, CD, and business accounts. Opens and maintains IRA's and provides investments referrals to appropriate personnel. Maintains depository compliance, Truth in Savings, and all account disclosures/regulations etc. Additional Duties and Responsibilities
Assists other employees with questions and concerns relating to Bank products and services.
Updates knowledge and develops professionally on a continuing basis. Participates in internal and external training and development opportunities as required.
Some travel required to various branches, also meetings, seminars, or conferences.
Additional duties may be assigned by supervisor as necessary.
