Job Description
Robert Half is recruiting for an Interim Controller / Consultant for a logistics client in the Inland Empire. The Consultant will oversee daily accounting operations, lead the month end close process, and ensure accurate financial reporting while supporting a fast paced Distribution/ warehouse environment. This role will be located onsite in Mira Loma, CA. Responsibilities
- Manage month end and year end close activities
- Oversee general ledger, account reconciliations, and financial statement preparation
- Supervise AP, AR, and cash management functions
- Ensure compliance with US GAAP and internal controls
- Support inventory accounting and warehouse related transactions
- Partner with operations leadership on reporting and analysis
- Lead, mentor, and support accounting staff
- Drive process improvements and optimize use of Acumatica ERPQualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Prior experience in logistics, distribution, warehousing, or fulfillment environments
- Knoweledge of mid-tier ERP experience (Accumatica, Netsuite)
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting
- Advanced Excel skills
- CPA preferredThis role is ideal for a hands on accounting leader who can quickly add value, improve processes, and maintain accurate financial reporting in a high volume operational environment.
