We are looking for an experienced Assistant Controller to support accounting operations and financial oversight for a Long-term Contract position based in Centennial, Colorado. This role will play a key part in maintaining accurate financial records, guiding close activities, and strengthening reporting across a multi-entity environment. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in construction accounting, thrives in a hands-on setting, and can partner effectively with senior finance leadership and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Direct monthly and year-end close activities to ensure timely and accurate financial results.
• Maintain the integrity of the general ledger by reviewing entries, reconciliations, and supporting documentation across multiple entities.
• Prepare internal and external financial reports, including consolidated statements and analysis for leadership review.
• Oversee intercompany accounting processes, resolve balance discrepancies, and manage elimination entries during consolidation.
• Support financial statement audits by organizing schedules, responding to auditor requests, and coordinating required documentation.
• Apply construction accounting knowledge to monitor project-related financial activity and ensure proper treatment of costs and revenue.
• Use Viewpoint Vista and Microsoft Excel to analyze data, improve reporting accuracy, and streamline accounting workflows.
• Partner with the Controller and senior finance team on special projects, including process enhancements and accounting-related operational changes.
