full-time A fast-growing civil construction company is searching for an Assistant Controller. This is a strong opportunity for a Senior Accountant ready to step up, or an existing Assistant Controller looking for a growth-stage environment with real visibility to senior leadership. Why This Role Newly created due to continued company growth High visibility, direct interaction with the CFO and Controller Genuine ownership: this is a chance to improve and tighten processes, not just execute them Team-oriented, collaborative culture, not a typical construction environment Strong path to grow into a leadership role What You'll Do Own progress billing and percentage-of-completion (WIP) processes Apply GAAP and ASC 606 knowledge to construction accounting Partner closely with the Controller on process improvement and reporting accuracy What You'll Need Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance CPA preferred, not required Strong GAAP knowledge and hands-on WIP/percentage-of-completion experience Construction accounting background Strong Excel skills
