Job Description Role and Responsibilities Responsible for all business operations of the schools including accounting, budgeting, cash management and audit functions. Monthly financial reporting to President, Principals, School Board and Diocese. Development and monitoring of the annual operating budget. Ensure that financial record keeping is in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles. Responsible for internal control policies to safeguard assets and monitor compliance. Generate and update of Five Year Business Plan on an on-going basis. Supervision of payroll and employee benefits functions. Oversight of the purchasing of goods and services. Serve on the Diocesan Insurance Committee and provide input as it pertains to employee health, life, and dental insurance plans on an annual basis. Assist in communication of school benefit policies to employees at annual renewal in the spring. Implementation and administration of system tuition policies. Blackbaud, Educational Savings Accounts (ESA's), Coordinate with TADS third party vendor in the calculation and allocation of tuition assistance and scholarship funds to school families in the spring and as needed throughout the year. Assist in providing written and verbal communication to families as it pertains to the tuition model. Prepare, present and coordinate the annual external financial audit. Responsible for banking and investment relationships. Work on an as-needed basis with the parish pastors on any school/parish related issues. Supervision of accounts payable, payroll, accounts receivable, lunch program and administration assistant staff. Facilitate family school bus transportation sign up and billing. Special projects on an as-needed basis. Knowledge, skills, and abilities: Excellent interpersonal communication skills, customer service oriented. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Strong computer skills such as MS Word and Excel. Experience in Blackbaud, Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains, and Management Reporter preferred. Ability to work well with students, staff, and the public.

Interacts extensively with the following positions : President, VP of Advancement, Principals, Athletic and Activities Departments Finance committee, School Board Diocese Finance Office and Finance Committee Administrative office staff

Sedentary work-involves sitting most of the time, walking and standing are required occasionally. Duties require occasional travel with evening and weekend meetings. Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in accounting required. Minimum of ten years relevant experience. Previous audit preparation required. Experience in a computerized accounting environment. Experience managing the operations of a business a plus. CPA certification preferred but not required.
