Coeur d'Alene, ID Join Our Team We are seeking an experienced Controller to oversee the accounting and financial operations for two growing manufacturing companies. This is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining strong internal controls, supporting strategic decision-making, and helping drive operational excellence. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position works closely with ownership and department leaders to provide meaningful financial insights that support continued growth. Responsibilities Manage all day-to-day accounting functions for two manufacturing companies. Maintain accurate general ledger, journal entries, and account reconciliations. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll support to outside payroll service, and cash flow. Perform month-end and year-end closing processes. Prepare budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses. Track manufacturing costs, inventory, and job costing. Coordinate with outside CPA for tax preparation and annual financial reporting. Monitor fixed assets and depreciation schedules. Ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies. Develop and improve accounting processes and internal controls. Support audits and provide financial information as requested. Generate financial reports and work closely with owners for budgeting and forecasting Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance 5+ years of accounting experience , preferably in a manufacturing environment. Required experience with EITHER QuickBooks Online or QuickBooks Desktop. Strong understanding of inventory accounting, job costing, and manufacturing financials. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Preferred Experience Manufacturing, or industrial accounting. Multi-company OR multi-division accounting. Budget development and financial forecasting. Process improvement and internal controls.
