I'm working with a growing law firm in Barrington that's looking for an experienced Controller to take ownership of its financial operations. This is a great opportunity to work directly with firm leadership, help shape financial strategy, and play a key role in the firm's continued growth. What You'll Be Doing Oversee accounting operations, including AP/AR, payroll coordination, and reconciliations. Prepare financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and cash-flow reports. Manage trust accounting, IOLTA compliance, and financial controls. Provide financial insights and recommendations directly to firm leadership. Improve financial processes and reporting as the firm grows. What We're Looking For 3-5+ years of accounting, finance, or financial management experience. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Strong QuickBooks Online (or similar) and advanced Excel skills. Experience with budgeting, reporting, payroll, and cash-flow management. Law firm or professional services experience preferred, particularly with IOLTA or trust accounting.
