Are you a CPA with strong financial reporting expertise and leadership experience?

I'm partnering with a well-respected organization in South Arkansas that is looking to add a Controller to its leadership team. This is a high-impact opportunity for an accounting professional who enjoys leading teams, partnering with executive leadership, and helping shape the financial direction of an organization.
Salary:
$100,000 - $110,000 DOEThis opportunity offers long-term career growth, excellent visibility with leadership, a strong PTO package, outstanding health benefits, and a 401(k) match.

This is a high-impact leadership role where you'll partner directly with executive management and help drive the financial strategy of a growing financial institution. You'll oversee all aspects of accounting operations, financial reporting, internal controls, regulatory compliance, and team development while serving as a key member of the Finance leadership team.

What You'll Be DoingLead all internal and external financial reporting activitiesOversee monthly close processes and financial statement preparationManage the general ledger and chart of accountsEnsure strong internal controls and account reconciliation processesCoordinate external audits and regulatory examinationsSupport budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planningProvide technical accounting guidance related to U.S. GAAP and regulatory requirementsOversee tax reporting processes and relationships with tax advisorsSupport CECL reporting, IRR and Liquidity reporting, and yield analysisPresent financial analyses, recommendations, and reporting to executive leadership and ALCOMentor, develop, and lead the Accounting Department team
