This role will play a key role in the finance department, providing expertise and leadership in various accounting and financial functions. With a strong background in accounting principles and experience in the manufacturing industry, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, analyzing financial data, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support business decisions.

Primary Responsibilities:

Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial statements, including income statements and balance sheets.\nLead the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.\nPerform complex reconciliations for accounts such as inventory, intercompany transactions, and revenue recognition.\nAssist in developing and managing the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting process.\nAnalyze financial data and provide insights to management to support strategic decision-making.\nReview and analyze variances between actual financial results and budgeted targets, providing recommendations for improvement.\nEnsure compliance with accounting principles, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.\nSupport the preparation of financial data for audits and liaise with external auditors.\nLead process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy within the finance department.\nParticipate in cost analysis and provide recommendations for cost-saving initiatives.\nCollaborate with the cost accounting team to analyze product costs and recommend cost-saving strategies.\nStay abreast of changes in accounting standards and industry trends and implement best practices accordingly.\nPerforms other duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.\n4 plus years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in the manufacturing industry.\nStrong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP) and financial analysis.\nExperience with ERP systems, preferably in a manufacturing environment.\nExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.\nAbility to work independently and lead a project team in a fast-paced environment.\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.\nProfessional certification (e.g., CPA) is a plus but not mandatory.\nAll Microsoft Office products proficiency desired. Additional Information The US base salary range for this full-time position is $110,000-$125,000 + bonus + medical, dental, vision benefits starting day 1 + 401k and PTO. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
