full-time Venteon Finance is currently seeking an experienced Controller for growing non-automotive service based client in Oakland County.
REQUIREMENTS
for the Controller role Bachelor's degree in Accounting 7+ years of progressive accounting experience Multi-site / multi-entity experience preferred Supervisory / Team management experience
RESPONSIBILITIES
of the Controller Own and manage the monthly close in a multiple site / entity environment, ensuring consistent timelines, policies, and chart-of-accounts treatment across locations Serve as the primary accounting point of contact for site leadership Standardize accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls across sites Review account reconciliations, journal entries, and balance sheet support prepared by site and AR/AP staff Directly manage the Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable team Prepare and consolidate accurate, timely financial reporting across assigned sites. Support cash flow and liquidity reporting, including AR/AP aging and working-capital trends across assigned sites Analyze complex reconciliations and build financial models to support ad hoc initiatives and site-level decision-making Other Duties as assigned
