$155,000 - $175,000 About the Company Our client is a growing Twin Cities organization known for its strong operational leadership and commitment to strategic growth. The company is seeking an experienced finance leader who can drive financial performance, improve reporting capabilities, and serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership. Position Summary The Director of Finance will oversee the organization's financial planning, reporting, and analysis functions while providing strategic guidance to senior leadership. This role will lead budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial performance initiatives to support long-term business objectives and profitability. Key Responsibilities Financial Planning & Analysis Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning processes. Develop key performance indicators and provide financial insights to support decision-making. Analyze business trends, profitability metrics, and operational performance. Present monthly and quarterly financial results to executive leadership. Financial Reporting & Controls Oversee preparation of financial statements and management reports. Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data and reporting processes. Maintain and strengthen internal controls and financial procedures. Support audit activities and regulatory compliance requirements. Cash Flow & Business Strategy Manage cash flow forecasting and working capital initiatives. Evaluate investments, capital expenditures, and strategic growth opportunities. Partner with department leaders to improve financial performance and accountability. Provide recommendations to optimize operational efficiency and profitability. Leadership & Team Development Lead, mentor, and develop finance and accounting team members. Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement. Drive process enhancements and financial system improvements. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 8+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience. Previous leadership experience managing finance or accounting teams. Strong knowledge of financial planning, analysis, budgeting, and forecasting. Advanced proficiency in financial reporting and analytics. Excellent communication and business partnering skills. Desired Skills & Competencies CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred. Experience with ERP systems and business intelligence tools. Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities. Ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and executive leadership.
