Job Description

We are looking for a Controller to join our team on a Contract basis in Kernersville, North Carolina. This role is ideal for a finance leader with deep experience guiding accounting through acquisitions, managing complex close processes, and overseeing multi-entity financial operations. The successful candidate will bring a hands-on approach, strong ownership mentality, and practical expertise with NetSuite in fast-paced, growth-oriented environments.

Responsibilities:

Lead accounting activities related to acquisitions, including purchase accounting and the financial integration of newly acquired entities.
Oversee the month-end close process to ensure accurate reporting, timely completion, and consistency across multiple business units.
Manage consolidated financial reporting for multi-entity operations, maintaining strong controls and reliable financial data.
Direct post-close integration efforts from an accounting perspective, establishing processes that align acquired businesses with corporate standards.
Partner with leadership to identify financial issues early and implement practical solutions that support business objectives.
Use NetSuite to support accounting operations, reporting accuracy, and entity-level visibility across the organization.
Review and improve accounting workflows to strengthen efficiency, compliance, and scalability in an acquisitive environment.
